MAKING THE MOST OF COMMUNITY SERVICES

Making the Most of Community Services is a discussion paper (Enc E1) that sets out key facts and explains national policy direction for community health services.  Patients, carers, NHS staff and community stakeholders are invited to share their views and ideas about the future development of community health services in Somerset.

The paper highlights the findings of a 2013 Clinical Commissioning Group audit into bed use at the county’s 13 community hospitals  (Enc E3) and invites readers to answer four questions about the aspects of community hospital and home health care they most value.

The survey

By completing our survey you can help us improve services for the future.  We want to hear from people, their families and carers who currently use, or have used, our community services to help us plan and design these services for the future.

The survey is open until 10 September 2014.

Engagement events

Engagement events will be held to discuss these community services where you can share you views. You can also invite the Clinical Commissioning Group to attend your community meeting.
