consultations and ENGAGEMENT

Somerset CCG regularly conducts consultations and surveys to ensure we are commissioning the best healthcare services for the people of Somerset. Feedback is used to make improvements and gives the local population a say in how services are commissioned.

Current surveys, consultations and engagement

We are currently seeking your views on the following and would appreciate you taking the time to have your say and get involved:

Somerset Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP)

NHS organisations in different parts of the country have been asked to come together to develop 'place-based plans' for the future of health and care services in their area. These Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP) are five-year plans covering all areas of NHS spending in England. A total of 44 areas have been identified as the geographical 'footprints' on which the plans will be based.

Somerset's plan describes why we need to change the way health services are structured and delivered in order to meet the future needs of the people of Somerset. There will shortly be a programme of engagement events which will be publicised locally.
