Chris trained at the Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry and did his house jobs at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in a wide range of specialities before training as a General Practitioner. After obtaining his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Chris was a GP principal in Torquay, Devon before taking up his current Partnership at ISCA Medical Practice in Exeter.
He currently works part time as a partner and part time as an Out-of-Hours Clinician working across Devon. He is also an Academic Tutor and Examiner for Exeter Medical School, a Clinical Governance Director for Exeter Primary Care Ltd and a Deputy Crematorium Referee.
Chris is committed to ensuring sustainability and equality, whilst embracing new ideas and innovation in General Practice. His unique position on the Primary Care Joint Committee allows him to input his knowledge and experience, whilst remaining independent.
He lives in Exeter with his fiancée and two children. Outside medicine Chris enjoys travelling, good food and DIY.
